Facts

Method: Source-destination editing: select a range in a take above and drop it into the finished timeline below
Anchors: The same musical point across takes is estimated and marked, so you compare the same phrase even when the tempo drifts
Joins: Crossfades with 5 curve types set separately for the out and in sides. Zoom down to 2 ms, edit points in 0.1 ms steps
Input: Full takes as WAV (a whole folder works). All takes must share one sample rate and channel count. BWF metadata is preserved
Export: To WAV at original quality, plus the edit plan (which take covers which range) as text
Network: None. Audio never leaves the device
Runs on: Any browser. Made for a tablet in landscape. On Android, a build signed by Kuon

How to use

Lay the base
Drop the full-take WAVs as a folder. Pick the base take and it is laid on the finished timeline.

Select a range and compare
Drag to select the passage. Using the anchors, compare the same phrase across every take.

Replace and finish
Choose the best take and crossfades appear at both ends. Refine them on the waveform and export at original quality.

A common question

Does it do what the dedicated desktop suites do?

Stitching takes, comparing at anchors, refining crossfades and exporting the edit plan: yes. Pitch or timing correction and multitrack mixing: no. It goes deep on the one job of stitching.

An ensemble gets no second chance. Gathering the best moments into one performance is no longer the privilege of a desktop suite.
