Frequently asked questions

Q1How do standard and high-precision differ?

Standard splits a song into four parts — vocals, drums, bass, and other (Concerto plan). High-precision separates more cleanly and goes further: guitar and piano come out on their own tracks too (Concerto only). One listen makes the difference obvious.

Q2How many separations do I get?

Stem separation comes with the Concerto plan: 15 runs a month for the standard version and 8 for the high-precision one. Once a song is separated, you can rearrange its parts as often as you like.

Q3Where can I use the separated parts?

Inside KUON DAW the parts arrive as ready-made tracks — rebalance, edit, layer your own recording, and keep creating. In the SLOWDOWN transcription player you can switch parts instantly during playback. No need to leave for a separate app.

Q4How long does it take?

A few minutes, depending on the song. A progress indicator shows how far along it is; even under load, the work keeps running in the background. When it finishes, the result stays with you.

Q5How is my audio handled?

Only when you press separate is that song sent to Kuon's processing service. High-precision results are kept automatically on your own device and survive navigation — they do not vanish when you move pages.
